A batch from heaven – New Nestlé biscuits are conveniently launched – Retail Times

Baked by Rich’s, the premium sweet bakery brand, has partnered with chocolate giant Nestlé Professional to launch three new coffee shop quality biscuit flavors for the convenience channel. The delicious Baked by Rich’s, Made with… range includes Matchmakers® Zingy Orange, Aero® Peppermint and Little Rolo®.

Available in defrost and serve formats, the cookies are designed for retailers who want to offer a freshly baked option but don’t have the space for an in-store bakery. Bake-off freezer pucks are available for larger stores and grocery retailers.

Popular with households, the three flavors, backed by Rich Products’ bakery expertise, will be available from August and will be sold in eye-catching, bright packaging. With four biscuits per bag, they’re ideal for sharing at home or on the go.

Sales of premium biscuits increased by 20% in 2021, and ‘stuffed biscuits’ have also helped grow the category by adding value and encouraging commerce. The range allows retailers to offer an in-demand combination of coffee and baked goods, with recent trials by Rich’s showing a 2.5x higher sales rate when cookies are placed near an in-store express coffee machine.
