Changes in the wholesale management in Limpopo Province

In Limpopo Province, coaching changes are broadly continuing, with five of the six professional clubs already pushing the trigger for technical team changes this season.

Baroka remains the only team that hasn’t changed their technical team, with Matsimela Thoka still filling his position.

But after winning just two games with four defeats in his team’s first seven games this season, the writing could be on the wall. Thoka could be around soon since he was named after Dylan Kerr left last November.

The top club Marumo Gallants was embroiled in a chaotic campaign that led to the departure of Frenchman Sebastien Migne and his assistant Jean Francois Loscuito.

In a struggle with the professionalism required to compete in the top division, Gallants have now appointed Raymond Mdaka as head of the dressing room on an interim basis.

In the GladAfrica Championship, the Black Leopards forced Morgan Shivambu to make way for Benson Mhlongo and Floyd Mogale after a slow start to the season.

Leopards are third from the bottom of the overall ranking.

Shivambu took over the job from Lehlohonolo Seema towards the end of last season when they were relegated from the DStv Premiership.

Immediately after purchasing another franchise and staying with Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila, the owners announced the appointment of Zeca Marques last week.

The former Swallows coach has replaced Phuti Mohafe and is supported by Mulondoi Sikhwivhilu.

Venda Academy FC named Johnny Ferreira earlier in the season after assuming status from Cape Umoya United.

Finally, Polokwane City brought Innocent Mayoyo on board, who has taken the lead since the beginning of this season.
