Etisalat announced on Saturday that it was named the best regional SMS service provider at the fifth annual Carrier Community (CC) Global Awards ceremony on September 2 in Berlin.
Independently judged by a panel of telecommunications analysts and experts, the CC Global Awards recognize innovations and achievements by telecommunications wholesale operators and ecosystem partners around the world.
The Best Regional SMS Service Provider award is given to a company with a unique service or initiative that can demonstrate the most effective, cutting-edge service or solution and demonstrate the business benefits that can result from it.

Etisalat’s regional sales presence in the Middle East, Europe and Asia meant that the wholesale customer base in the application-to-person (A2P) area grew in the regions of Europe, Middle East and Africa and Asia and moved closer to the end customer.
