By Sam Reisman (March 23, 2022 at 10:16 pm EDT) — The state of Georgia has asked a trial judge to reverse a temporary ban he imposed earlier this week on the efforts of an Atlanta-area prosecutor Company pursuing sales of unregulated hemp-derived cannabinoids and said it was not notified in time to respond to the case.
In a brief Monday, Georgia officials said plaintiffs Sass Group LLC and Great Vape LLC failed to give the state the five-day period required by law before an injunction could be granted in the matter.
