The Perkins County Chamber announced Jens Crafty Crafts as a business spotlight in September. Jen Harger attended the regular meeting on September 15th to discuss her business.

Jens Crafty Crafts was founded in 2013 by Jen Harger as a new mom with a little extra time.

“I’ve always loved sewing. I made a car seat cover, blankets, and spit clothes for my upcoming newborn. It started very slowly and casually when people asked if I could do them for their babies / grandchildren, ”Harger said.

She decided to become a housewife in 2018 and said that was when the business really got going.

“Since then it’s everything I imagined and much more. I now offer a variety of homemade items, but I am best known for my custom made epoxy mugs and t-shirts with funny sayings. I am blessed with the trust of local companies to handle their large shirt projects, ”said Harger.

In July of that year, 2021, she introduced the wholesale side of the business. This wholesale site gives business owners the ability to carry my items in their showrooms and sell them for retail purposes.

“It’s been very successful so far and it’s exciting to know that people and boutiques all over the United States are wearing / wearing / using my designs and something I’ve created,” said Harger.

Regarding Jens Crafty Crafts’ future, Harger said, “I would love to have a larger location to support the needs of my wholesale and retail business and to grow with them.”

Jens Crafty Crafts is on 1st and Lincoln is on Grant. She can be reached at 308-352-8356 or through her website at www.jenscraftycrafts.com.
