Netflix is a fairly affordable streaming platform, despite recent increases in monthly subscription fees (and the deletion of the month-long free trial we all know and love – and abuse). Now the entertainment monolith is planning more ways to get your money, with the launch of Netflix.shop.
The online shop specializes in branded items from your favorite series, be it Strange things, lupine, or Bridgerton (Come on, we know your girlfriend made you look at it). The site has everything from t-shirts and hoodies to necklaces and alarm clocks, all designed by trendsetters like Nathalie Nguyen, Kristopher Kites and Jordan Bentley.
“We are constantly exploring how we can expand the world of our stories for fans, from clothing and toys to immersive events and games,” said Josh Simon, vice president of consumer products at Netflix, in a press release. “We’re excited to offer fans a new way to connect with their favorite stories and introduce them to the next wave of artists and designers who harness the power of storytelling in all its forms.”
The prices for the goods range from $ 30 to $ 135, which could net you a whole load of Netflix instead of logo clothing and quirky housewares that you don’t really need. But who are we to stop you from throwing your hard earned cash on the site? Just make sure you add Cleaning up with Marie Kondo in your Netflix queue so you can clean up some of the clutter after your shopping spree.
