Retail price of petroleum products from July 15, 2021 to July 28, 2021

Based on the weekly retail prices of petroleum products according to the formula of the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM), the retail prices for petroleum products from July 15, 2021 to July 28, 2021 are set as follows:
the sales price of 97 RON rose by 3 sen per liter from 2.70 RM per liter to 2.73 RM per liter;
the sales price of 95 RON petrol remains unchanged at 2.05 RM per liter; and
the selling price of diesel remains unchanged at 2.15 RM per liter.
To protect consumers from global oil price increases, the government will keep the maximum price of 95 RON at 2.05 RM per liter and diesel at 2.15 RM per liter, although the market price per day for 95 RON and diesel is above the current limit price has risen.
The government will continue to monitor developments in global crude oil prices and take appropriate measures to ensure the continued well-being and well-being of the people.
