Roland is proud to announce an expanded “Roland Store” experience at select retailers in the US and worldwide. Roland has developed a new technology for the stores under the brand “Audience Specific Experience ASX”, which controls light, video and audio in the rooms and can be adapted to the environment to suit the tastes of the individual customer at the push of a button. Roland introduced the technology in 2020 and currently operates ten of the new store formats worldwide, with expansion into new markets planned for 2022. With retail bounce back, and 45% of US consumers say they’ll be looking for gifts in-store, and the important Generation Z cohort who are adding time in-store this holiday season has never been more relevant. As retailers continue to compete with ecommerce sites, Roland knows this experience will help them continue to build relationships with in-store consumers.
