The September 2022 RV Industry Association (RVIA) Manufacturers Survey Results showed that total RV shipments ended the month at 28,333 units, a decrease of (-48.5%) compared to the 55,014 units shipped in September 2021 became. By September, RV deliveries are made Decrease (-8.2%) compared to the same time last year with 415,594 wholesale shipments.
“This latest shipment report shows that RV production continues to normalize from last year’s record production and routes with our latest 2022 forecast,” said Craig Kirby, President and CEO of the RV Industry Association. “Campsites continue to report strong reservations as many people who have purchased RVs in recent years are using the RVs to spend quality time with friends and family this fall while enjoying the many physical and mental benefits that come with it brings to be outdoors.”
Towable RVs, led by conventional RVs, ended the month with 23,103 shipments down (-54.4%) compared to last September. Motorhomes ended the month up 21.1% compared to the same month last year with 5,230 units.
Park Model RVs ended September with 387 wholesale shipments, up 28.6% from the same month last year. To date, park model RVs are up 13.3% with 3,440 shipments.
