Wilmington Bargain Box: 213 Princess Place Drive, Wilmington. An upscale thrift store, an outreach service by the Church of the Servant, Episcopal. All net proceeds from the sale of donated items go back to the community. The non-profit thrift store sells men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, jewelry, shoes, purses, decorative items, bedding and homeware. 11am-5pm Wednesday-Friday, 10am-5pm Saturday.

Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity ReStore: Donation centers accept household goods, furniture, building materials and more. Items are resold to support Habitat’s mission to create affordable housing in the community.

PAWS Resale Shoppe: 5941 Carolina Beach Road, Wilmington. PAWS’ mission is to support local rescue organizations by raising money through the sale of donated goods – home decor, gently used furniture, pet supplies, jewelry, beach items, puzzles and board games. Communities in Schools Thrift Stores: There are four shops Proceeds benefit the Communities In Schools of Brunswick County and Action for Success programs to prevent early school leaving. All shops are open Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Boiling Spring Lakes and Southport shops are also open on Sundays from 12pm to 4pm.

Junky Monkey: 3041 N Kerr Avenue, Wilmington. Over 60 different vendors sell earrings, clothing, furniture and household items from Monday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm.

Sea Glass Monthly Market: 5601 Castle Hayne Road, Castle Hayne. Is an indoor market featuring over 50 local artists and craftspeople selling handmade, homemade, resale and retail items. The venue is open on the third weekend of each month except for the first and third weekends of November and December. Open from 15 to 17 July from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
