SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) – The Sioux Falls Police Department reported a variety of crimes at Wednesday’s briefing.
ARMED ROBBERY IN A SHOP AND CART
Authorities are investigating an armed robbery early Wednesday morning.
Police say a man pulled out a gun and demanded money and cigarettes from the clerk.
The clerk complied.
Police say the victim said the robber was a light-skinned black man, about 6ft tall, weighing 180lbs and wearing a mask and hat.
The employee was not injured.
The incident happened at the Shop and Cart on North Minnesota Ave.
A RASH FROM BROKEN CAR WINDOWS
Sioux Falls Police are investigating a rash of broken vehicle windows in parts of the city.
Police say it was mainly front windshields that were smashed, but also some rear windows and side mirrors.
Incidents have occurred in the east, west, and central Sioux Falls for the past few days.
Unlike previous vandals like this one, police don’t see a pattern to the damage.
GAME CONSOLE “SALE” RESULTS IN ROBATION
Another online transaction, another rip-off.
Sioux Falls Police are investigating a theft that occurred Tuesday night at the 400 block of North Valley View Road.
A man was selling a game console, or so he thought.
Two men approached him and took the device away.
The victim was not injured.
MORE FUN MONEY
Someone successfully passed another fake bill.
This was a $50 bill in a store in Sioux Falls.
The police are investigating.
