Synchrony Forms Latinx Executive Alliance, a coalition to promote Latinx talent in Corporate America | news

STAMFORD, Conn., October 4, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Synchrony (NYSE: SYF), a leading consumer financial services company, today announced the Latinx Executive Alliance, a coalition of C-suite executives and business leaders from diverse companies, industries and sectors who are united in the support of Latinx employees have prescribed progress in American companies. The alliance will host its first virtual event on October 18NS from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. ET.

According to the 2019 US Census, the Latinx community is the fastest growing population in the US, yet a recent corporate governance study by the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) reports that the Latinx community is 18 percent1 Latinx talent only holds four percent of the population2 of senior management positions in Fortune 500 companies.
