Tata Motors global wholesale with 2,14,250 units in the first quarter

Tata Motors announced Thursday that its global wholesale sales, including that of Jaguar Land Rover, increased to 2,14,250 units in the first quarter of the current fiscal year.

The auto company had sold 91,594 units in the April-June quarter of FY21.

Global wholesale of all commercial vehicles and the Tata Daewoo range from Tata Motors were 52,470 units in the first quarter, up from 11,598 units a year ago, the company said in a statement.

Worldwide sales of all of the company’s passenger cars totaled 1,61,780 units, compared to 79,996 units in the June 2020/21 quarter.

JLR’s global wholesale trade was 97,141 units. Jaguar wholesale units totaled 21,373 vehicles during the reporting period, while Land Rover wholesale units comprised 75,768 units.

JLR had sold a total of 65,425 units in the April-June quarter of FY21.
